1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MakeTeam AI ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MakeTeam AI is a virtual influencer management platform that enables users to:

• Create and manage AI-generated virtual Korean influencers (K-pop idols)
• Automatically generate and publish content to social media (Instagram, X/Twitter, Threads)
• Access analytics and management tools

4. Payment and Billing

• Payments processed through Lemon Squeezy (third-party payment provider)
• Subscriptions billed monthly or annually in advance
• Automatic renewal unless cancelled
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• You may cancel or downgrade at any time through account settings

5. Virtual Characters and Intellectual Property

Platform Ownership: MakeTeam AI retains all intellectual property rights to character designs, models, visual assets, and platform technology.

Your License: You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use your virtual influencer for content generation through our Service. This license terminates upon account closure.

AI-Generated Content: Content generated by our AI is jointly owned. You grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use content for operating the Service, marketing, and improving our AI models.

6. Prohibited Content and Activities

You may not create or generate content that:

• Is illegal, obscene, defamatory, or fraudulent
• Promotes violence, terrorism, or illegal activities
• Contains hate speech or discrimination
• Infringes intellectual property rights
• Spreads misinformation or deceptive content

Violations may result in account suspension, content removal, or legal action.

7. Social Media Integration

The Service integrates with Instagram, Threads, and X/Twitter via OAuth 2.0:

• You authorize us to post content on your behalf
• You must comply with each platform's terms of service
• All access tokens are encrypted and stored securely
• Instagram and Threads tokens valid for 60 days (re-authorization required)
• We are not responsible for platform changes or suspensions

8. Disclaimers and Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee:

• Quality, accuracy, or suitability of AI-generated content
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Any level of revenue or earnings from virtual influencers
• Availability of third-party social media platforms

9. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of $100 USD or amounts you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

Jurisdiction: Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Suwon District Court in the Republic of Korea.

Informal Negotiation: Before filing a claim, you agree to attempt informal resolution for at least 30 days.

11. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• We suspect fraudulent or illegal activity
• Required by law
• Your account is inactive for 12+ months

You may terminate your account at any time through account settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or Service notification at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
